Kid's Hat is the first hat in A Hat in Time. Hat Kid starts the game with it. It's replaced by the Kid's Bow when Bow Kid is the playable character, although the functionality is the same.

Kid's Hat functionality enables to localize the next objective of the Act, being either the exit to a location or the corresponding Time Piece.

Kid's Hat is unique since it's the only Hat without a Yarn requirement to acquire. It's also unique being the only Hat not actually needed to get a single Time Piece.
