Intro to the Chapter

Alpine Skyline is the fourth chapter in A Hat in Time. Unlike the other Chapters, there are no Acts to choose from - only the four Peaks which you can explore in any order you like through a Free Roam. But once all four Peaks have been cleared, you are forced into a second version of the Skyline where you have to deal with the illness which has spread from collecting the Time Pieces.

Plot

The Chapter start with Hat Kid arriving at the top of a pick where a rope of flags comes down from the sky, using her grappiling hook to ascend into the sky she discover the Alpine Skyline, where she finds out that the Time Piece she is looking for is on the top of the windmill, she retrives the Time Piece, but down there something bad was about to happen...

Trivia

• During the development of the game, Alpine Skyline was going to be a desert level, but the devs thought that the desert concept was boring, so it was changed to a Sky City concept.
• This is the only Chapter where Hat Kid does not goes back to the Spaceship after colecting a Time Piece.
